I purchased a Aqua-View a few years ago. I have the one that shows water temp and the direction of the camera. I really like using this camera when I'm not sure what my Lowrance graft is showing me. It's pretty neat when you see fish on your graft then drop the camera down and see fish. You will start laughing.
You see fish but can't tell how big they are but it does show everything just as you would see it swimming underwater. When I use the camera I become a little motion sick most people that look into the viewer will feel the same sick feeling. My wife has looked into the view screen for hours and she has never felt sick.... go figure..I look into it for five mintues and feel sick.
Find a friend that will split the cost with you because you will not use it that often or at least I don't use it too often mainly during the winter months when the fish are deeper. Make sure you purchase the one with a cord long enough for your lakes depths. I live in California and our reservoirs are as deep as 300 feet so I purchased the Aqua-View with the 100' cord.
